Last Saturday I decided to head to Cardiff on a day trip with Anderson Tours despite many warnings from my flatmates (Cardiff? Why Cardiff? It's in Wales... it only rains in Wales). I'm stubborn by nature, which in this case was actually great - because yeaah I went to Wales, and it was sunny (even the guide joked that last year it rained twice in Wales - once for ten months and once for two...). The city is very beautiful and I enjoyed visiting the castles a lot, especially the Caerphilly Castle (there are these narrow stairs that lead you to the roof and since it's up in the mountain, you get an amazing view of the country).
